The Rensselaer County Supreme Court granted the Town’s pre-discovery motion dismissing the claims a former Town Official filed against the Town following his altercation with another Town employee and that employee’s criminal complaint. The pre-discovery motion filed by Gregg Johnson was granted, and following an appeal involving parties other than the Town, the action was discontinued against the Town in its entirety.
