Complainant filed a Complaint with the New York State Division of Human Rights (“SDHR”) alleging violations of the New York State Human Rights Law (“HRL”) for sex discrimination against Herkimer County, Complainant’s employer. April J. Laws submitted a position statement and answer on behalf of the County and defended the County during the SDHR’s investigation. Upon completion of the SDHR’s investigation, the SDHR issued a “No Probable Cause” determination and dismissed the Complaint.
